Dulsco hold Tigers

DULSCO managed a 1-1 draw against top local outfit Sharjah Tigers in the final tie of their three-match series at Dulsco recently.

Tigers won the first two 3-0 and 2-0 but had to face a determined Dulsco in the third over the weekend.

Sharp shooter Carl Mathias sounded the boards from almost the goalline in the 18th minute to give the Sharjah lads a 1-0 halftime lead. This was one of the best goals seen in local hockey here.

Dulsco strengthened by some of their senior players returning to the side after missing out on the first two fixtures, equalised in the 55th minute through Shahid.

John ball and Shammim Chaudhry of Dulsco gave away the prizes.

`Regards My comment is obviously not related to the above article. I want to send my best regards to all Sharjah Tigers Players that formed part of the touring side to Malta back in 1997. Hope that you are all well and enjoying Good Health. Special regards to Amir Bernard, who a had an opportunity to meet again on an other ocasion.
