ZAGREB, After all five rounds have been played, the autumn part of the men's national league in Croatia has already finished.

Mladost are on the top with all five straight wins, they absolutely dominated this part of the championship. Maybe the biggest problems they had were in the last round against Concordia.
Marathon-Senso, the current champions, are second. They recovered after a defeat in the first round against Mladost, with a nice display in the last round against Tresnjevka. Zelina are third, but only due to pure luck. They lost the last match with 1:6, but later the official result was changed into 3:0. Reason: their opponents had put in the match a player who was under suspension. Jedinstvo (their opponents) played well that last match, but due to management’s mistake, they lost points and the third place. Tresnjevka and Concordia 5th and 6th team have presented, on some occasions, a potential to surprise the rest, but there is still work ahead of them. In the match for supremacy between them Tresnjevka won minimally 1:0.

5th round results 12th October:
Marathon-Senso – Tresnjevka 10:2 (5:0)
Concordia – Mladost 2:4 (2:2)
Jedinstvo – Zelina 0:3 official

Table after autumn part of the season:
1. Mladost 15 pts
2. Marathon-Senso 12
3. Zelina 9
4. Jedinstvo 6
5. Tresnjevka 3
6. Concordia 0

Nice report
Well done Tomislav, nice report. Why such a short season?

jedinstvo lost points not by it's mistake
Thanks Juma for that half-seasons rewiev, but i think points that we (Jedinstvo) lost after a administrative decision, we'll be returned, because Sinisa Peranic was not suspended by HHS(Croatian Hockey Fedreation). He was suspended on a competition that is under juristiction of ZHC (Zagreb Hockey Federation) and is not Croatian Championship. Croatian championship in that category(Pionri) we'll be held in spring season,as it says in Competition Rules all clubs got before season started.
We'll send a demand to get the points back because a decision was not legal.

Short season?
Thanks Le Bois. To answer your question. The old problem of Croatian championship is that the system is changing almost every year. Sometimes the season is too long, sometimes it's too short. Still looking for the golden middle...
