We´ll see
Maybe greece will never be one of the best teams in the world but will for sure reach the level of spain in about 10 - 15 years. I was suprised that Turkey knows hockey and much more that they now joind FIH. The only thing I now: Helladara tha sas gamisi anapoda...

Hey Greek Guys i have been to ethen i dont think your national team member can play a high school level hockey in Pakistan,
well dont abused turks ,let them come and say them welcom,
well olympic are not far ,let us see what you will do,i have spoken with your hockey fedration secratry recently he is still looking for players from greek if there is any in other country,
well think before you speak ,those words are not nice even i feel shamed to tranlate them here
take care and in olympic you will get atleast 100 goals in your groupe matches if the matches will be more then 7,believe me

Turkish National Team
Hi I am a Tanzanian hockey player in Turkey. I play for one of the local clubs. There is lots of hockey action here, there are about 7 teams already and Turkey already has a National team.
As for tournaments, one has already taken place and all the info is on http://www.geocities.com/hokey_tr ... (It's in turkish).

I am a field hockey player from Romania, and I saw the turkish players playing in Albena(Bulgaria), and they were playing very very good.I was spell-bound.Congrats, and good luck in the future!

Field Hockey in İstanbul
I live in Istanbul .We have here only two teams and both are school taems for juniors. My aim is to ground a taem. If we have here sufficient taems we will start a Istanbul Liga. Mybe at the first time it could be a mixed liga but later we can seperate men and women. I am open for all cominications about field hockey, especially in Turkey? selam, arkadaşlar, bu sporu seviyoruz ama bu sporu geliştirecek hiçbir şey yapmıyoruz, sadece yılda 2-3 müsabakadan başka bir faaliyet olmuyor. daha çok takım daha fazla organizazyon ve katılımın olması gerekirken , gittikçe ilgi azlıyor.turnuvalara artık 3-4 takım katılıyor, federasyona daha fazla ödenek ayrılması gerekiyor bence,bu bir olimpiyat sporu, onda sonra neden olimpiyatlara az sporcuyla katılıyoruz diye yakınırlar, bu bir takım aporu, ve bu sporun gelişmesi gerekiyor, yılda 150, 200 milyarla federasyon ne yapsın. oysa futbol milli takımının bir yunanıstan maçının primi adam başına 150 milyar, biz bu kadar mı değersizis. buna inana mıyorum,bu ülkeden bir b..k olmaz,başımızda spordan anlamayanlar olduğu sürece, spor yapmamış insanlar başımızda olduğu sürece böyle gelip böyle gidecek.

benim adin murat. ve yaklasik 15 yildir berlin, almanyada hockey oynuyorum.
türk federasiyonu kuruldugunda cok sevindim.
hata federasiyon baskaniyla telefonda bile görüsdüm. bana milli takim icin oyuncu ariyoruz demisdi, ve beni ariyacagini söylemisdi. bir daha hic kimseye ulasamadim.
berlinde daha bir kac arkadas daha var oynayanlar.

Turks, please write in English!!!
Hi i'm BG u18&u21 national GK.
I saw the turks in Albena and in Bukurest, they had a lot of wish to play but their little expirience was an obstacle to win.
Of course they cant win 'couse i'm on the BG goal! :P
I wont to play with them in Balkan games, but they dont want to participate, wich is very poor 'couse they cant collect any int expirience.
I want to play against the greecs too, 'couse i've to revenge for the 1:1 in Vienna last summer!!! :P
I want to beat all of yours!!!

federasyon tam bir fiyasko
Şuanki federasyon tam bir fiyasko. Allah aşkına Türkiye'de sokağa çıkıp bir anket yapsanız ve çim hokeyi nedir diye bi sorsanız kaç kişi doğru cevap verebilir. Bence %95 bilemeyecektir. Böyle bir ortamda bizim federasyonun başına çöreklenmiş bir kaç paşa Balkan Şampiyonasında Bulgaristanla berabere kaldık diye sevine dursun. Türkiyede lig düzenleniyormu yada en azından turnuva yapılıyormu, yapılıyorsa kim biliyor? Keçiören diye bir takım kurmuşlar, federasyonun imkanlarıyla yurtdışında gezip duruyorlar ama Türkiye'de çim hokeyi yerinde sayıyor, saydığı yerde sıfır noktası. Federasyonun elinde iyi kötü bir bütçe var ve devlet onlara tam zamanlı çalışma ortamı yaratmış, maaşlarını ödüyor. Yani bu profosyonel olarak çim hokeyi adına çalıştıkları anlamına geliyor. Bunların kapı kapı şehir şehir dolaşıp hokeye yandaş toplaması gerekirken, televizyonlarda gazetelerde boy göstermesi gerekirken daha bir tane web sitesi bile kuramadılar.
