Sweden, France and Poland won the first games at the European Nations' Cup qualifier in Poznan, Western Poland. The Polish who, finished 15th in the World Cup, beat Hungary 12-2, France won over Slovenia 6-0 and Sweden scored three goals past Croatia without conceding even one. PFH writer Tomislav Jamicic is among the Croatian players who will face Poland on Tuesady.
The two best teams from Poznan will enter the European top 12 next year in Barcelona. The third will play extra games to secure their place in the finals.
