The European Hockey Federation has successfully completed the hosting of a Development Forum in Prague.
Under the Chairmanship of Claire Peeters-Monseu, EHF Vice President 25 delegates representing 22 National Associations gathered in Prague to review the successful FIH Year of the Youth - 2001 and to consider a Development plan for the Youth Hockey in Europe.
The 25 delegates in attendance are all actively involved in promoting Youth Hockey in their own countries.
Course Speakers included: -
· Gabrielle van Doorn, FIH Development Manager
· Rita Keverling Buisman & David Agius, EHF YotY 2001 Co-ordinators
· Jane Nockolds, English Hockey, Development Manager (Umpires)
· Stephan Haumann & Nienke Belgraver, World Youth Hockey Panel
· Jantien Findlater YotY Co-ordinator, Ireland
Various workshops were held during the weekend and it is planned to circulate ideas and suggestions on a Development Plan for Youth Hockey in Europe to all National Associations in due course.
