I have prepared a basic dribbling circuit

Dribbling Circuit
Dribbling Circuit

1. Dribbling into a figure of eight using the front stick: - This drill helps the youngsters in accelerating turns when it is necessary. It is important that they always use the front stick.
2. Dribbling 2 wide cones: - This drill needs a lot of attention. The youngster should know how to use the reverse stick properly. You start running towards the left hand cone and than change the direction towards the right.
3. This is a simple curved Indian dribble.
4. Dribbling with the aid of the board
5. Again as no.2 the youngster should have a good reverse stick.
6. Simple dribbling on the front stick.

It is important to remember that it is an ONLY dribbling circuit, you can vary it as you like.

Indoor
Indoor hockey is about passing the ball. Perhaps you should start giving details on Tactis. How to attack and defend against a Half court, Full court, Zone defense,Man to Man,etc I think this would more beneficial than dribbling through cones.

I agree with you that indoor game is about passing just as outdoor but to control the ball well the player has to be very skilful and that's why those excercises are great. In fact that's exactly what German players practice at early stages of hockey development and then they just focus on tactics, so maybe you shouldn't just claim that we have enoug dribblers in the world and instead try to benchmark the German solutions???

Indoor
The important points are to get your left hand down near the ground so the stick is flat or low to the ground and also get the feet in position. This makes controlling/stopping the ball alot easier.
