The Triangle

Brief Description
The pusher passes a hard and precise pass to the stopper whom stops with just one touch and while making a dummy he passes the ball to the shooter. The shooter must shoot at goal with a first timer.

Important procedures:

The Stopper
1. The stopper must be having his left shoulder parallel to the left goal post (shown with a dotted line).
2. The left foot must be more forward than the right, when stopping (shown in the photo).

The Shooter:
1. The shooter must be between 1.5meters and 2.5 meters away from the stopper.
2. He must turn his body by moving his left foot forward and he must be have his left shoulder pointing to the goal.

3. Try to minimize the swing of the shoot so it will consume less time.

Variations:

1. The stopper may take a shot at goal himself if he sees the right opportunity.
2. The stopper gives a slow pass to the shooter whom flicks instead of a hard push.
3. The shooter stops the ball and waits until a player overlaps him from the left to pass him the ball and shoot.

NOTE:

This is a great penalty corner and we score loads of goals from it but it must be executed perfectly. Our U/14 team can get a shot at goal in less than 2.5seconds. Can you do less???
