England, following their triumph in the Three Kings tournament last weekend, have abandoned a return trip to Spain next week and will go instead to Gibraltar to continue their warm weather World Cup preparation.

The squad of 29 players will leave on Sunday and play two separate teams against Gibraltar in unofficial tests on Jan 16 and 17.

Coach Malcolm Wood will select his World Cup 18 after the trip and those players will go to South Africa for four Tests at the end of the month.

Dont bank on it Baz - Taylor has put himself in a very strong position with his Intl performances but past experiences - when both Jimi and Trigger (Triggs)played well when they got their chances, but still lost out to Mason when it came to the big tournamemnts / games - would suggest that the management are quite conservative in this area.

Same old, same old!
Sorry Baz / Paul - looks like the new management has the same approach to selection - Taylor has got to feel very unlucky for not being selected.
