If you have a session of 18 youngsters divide them into six groups (making 3 youngsters per group) and station the groups in the different drills. In diagram 1 there is just how you have to split and rotate the youngsters but if you message (on the club house steve_c) or e-mail me I can send you diagrams with different drills on the basic skills. Ideally you should have all the drills involving the same skill e.g. all drills involve dribbling or shooting but if you want to mix the both it can also be done. The hockey SC circuit can also be used in performing tests. Instead of having all the youngsters going together, let them go one by one. YOU CAN VARY AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE

Briefing: Although you explain the drills before most of the youngsters will forget what drill number 6 is if they started from drill 1 so the best thing to do is to tell them to look at the next drill while they are inactive so they can learn from the others. If you can have six coaches or supervisors is much better so they will be explaining the same drill.
