8th European Indoor Nations Cup – Men U21
Following the withdrawal of the Austrian team (due to 8 of their players being unavailable due to being called up for National Service) the EHF is very pleased to announce that the best ranked team in the B Division, Sweden has been able to take up the invitation to play in the A Division in place of Austria.
They will replace Austria directly in Pool B. The revised pools are as follows:
Men A Under 21
Porto, Portugal
18/20 January 2002
Pool A Pool B
Denmark Czech Republic
France Poland
Spain Portugal
Switzerland Sweden
This will also mean changes to the make-up of the B Division Tournament in Sopron, Hungary on the same dates and an announcement about these changes will be made in the near future.
