Croatia and Hungary played in a women’s international tournament for the first time when a women’s competition was added to the Panonia Cup at Budapest last week-end.
While neither was able to record their first victory in a women’s international, they both managed to draw two of their three games and finish above Slovenia.
Croatia needed to beat Hungary in a penalty stroke competition (5-4) to finish second in the event behind Slovakia. Croatia did retain the men’s Panonia Cup.
