Georgetown Cricket Club's edged arch rivals Old Fort 5-4 to take the senior title of the Flora Margarine indoor five-a-side hockey tournament at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Sunday evening.

The Bourda team also won the ladies title by defeating Western Dragons 1-0 in the final while Western Dragons boys team beat Old Fort 3-2 in the boys (under-17) final.

Devin Hooper who was adjudged the most valuable senior men's player at the end of the tournament, bagged a treble in the 6th, 14th and 19th minute while Dwayne Scott and Alan Fernandes found the net once each in the 16th and 22nd minutes respectively for GCC.

For Old Fort, Gavin Hope scored a double in the 1st and 7th minutes while Dwight Sullivan and Askofu Solomon scored one goal each in the 7th and 20th minutes respectively.

GCC's Chantelle Fernandes was named most valuable ladies player while Western Dragons' Dion Carew was voted most valuable boy's player.

Ulrica Sutherland scored GCC's winning goal in the final while Adrian
Sampson bagged a double for Western Dragons in the 6th and 23rd minutes afer Deon Brondford scored in the 1st minute. For Old Fort, A. Simon secured a double in the 5th and 15th minutes.

In other results from the final night, GCC mauled Vikings 9-1 through Kevin Spencer, Devin Hooper and Philip Fernandes who all scored doubles, while one goal each came off the sticks of Anthony Solomon, Patrick
Edghill and Dwayne Scott. Vikings' consolation game was scored by Johnathan Yearwood.

Old Fort seniors edged Everest Hikers 3-2 through goals from Ivor Thompson who scored a double and Wayne St. Jules who found the net once. For Everest, Jerry Bell and Mark King were the goal scorers.

In the ladies competition, Western Dragons held their counterparts from Old Fort to a 1-1 draw while GCC and Everest Thugs `A' played to a 0-0 draw. The latter however scored a 1-0 victory over their `B' team
