Help with sponsorship
I am a 13 year old girl from the beautiful sunny town of Whakatane in the Bay of Plenty New Zealand. I come from a family of six children. My mother is a student a my dad works in forestry. I am a Bay goalie and have held this position for about 4 years.They try had to get me to goalie clinics and coaching where ever they may be. I had a part time job after school to help with expenses. I have been on a number of tournaments for Bay of Plenty. My parents go to all my games and mum usually attends my trainings. I am seeking sponsors this year as it is a big year for and getting more and more expensive for my parents. advice
if you want a good sponsor then you have to be a keen ass like myself. only then will top hockey brands such as donnay and dunlop be willing to sponsor you. in fact teh'll be poundind at you door. a discount on casual wear is also available - the birds dig it.

Getting sponsorship is hard when you're a goalie. just make sure you get plenty of publicity and put 110% into every match and training session.If the talent's there somebody will spot you!

i love hockey
i would love to go summer camps ! iam in the uk now in leicester ! can you please tell me where is the camps held ! iam not fit but i always try my best to play and to run but i got good skills just need fitness ! when ever i go to play for the game iam always substitute on the bench sometimes even cant play just sit on the bench and watch the team playing because they are too good for me and the team they against is strong ! but even if i sit outside on bench i always watch the players how they play and learn things from him and when i got a chance to play in the pitch i always try my best to prove it that yes i can do it ! i just moved to england from hongkong all of my mates play for hongkong juniour team except me because iam not fit enough iam so pissed off it is only me who not playing but evey one my mates are playing ! but dont wory i trained my self evey day now and i know one day i will be a good player ! can you please send me a e mail where is the camp held and the latest infomation my e mail is jackno1starzero@hotmail.com !!!!!!!!! looking forward to see you ! thanksss

Summer Camps
For those of you asking about summer camps, I reckon you should get in touch with Sportways. They are from Holland and they run summer hockey camps all over Europe, including Holland of course and Paris and Barcelona.
They are very professionally run, and the trainers are all highly qualified and often have an Olympic medal or two!
I have been a trainer there for 5 years and they are the best fun ever!

I can't believe I am actually reading this rubbish...if you want sponsorship it's simple-write to various companies and they will determine whether or not you are worthy based on your credentials.
Message for Ben Gibson Jnr-mate, did you say Donnay and Dunlop were decent sponsors? This is a hockey web site, not planet golf...besides which, Donnay and Dunlop are for pikeys (that's white trash if you are American)
Jassi-if you are looking for camps I suggest you look closer to home-there is a summer league which should begin around mid June in Hong Kong, suitable for players of all standards. Contact the HKHA for more details at www.hockey.org.hk-don't go flying around Europe for camps if you aren't a competent player-and if you can't make the U18 HK squad let's be real...trust me, I know...

sponsorship is quite difficult to get with top brand such as dita, slazenger and grays if you are a young player looking for sponsorship i suggest the like of mercian as they look to provide kit for young up and coming players. also can any1 tell me where you get info on being a coach in such camps
p.s benny u r fat with no commitment apart to the beer o and no girls even look at u luv menzieshill boys and good luck gettin sponsorship all!!!

The love of Field Hockey
i am a 13 year old girl from a littel town called Fryeburg. I fell in love with this sport in 7th grade there is no other sport I would even play and have the time of my life playing it. The first year playing field hockey I was the best defence player in my School. My coach said to me "there is no way I could ever in my wildest dreams be as good as you playing Defence" I am trying to go all the way with this Field Hochey thing as I can . My goal in life is to be the best Field Hockey defence player in the World .Yes I know this is a far goal but with dedacation and hard work I beleive that I can accomblish this goal.
So I am looking for more info on camps in the U.S.

feild hockey
feild hockey is fun to play. and it gets you in to shape. believe it or not but...it does get you to make new friends! i mean i used to be shy... now it made me alot more outgoing. and the couches are great.

F.H is a stress reducer and is great on a college application.
Feild Hockey is an wasome sport to play when your mad or stressed. I love just hitting the @#$%! out of the ball. It is fun adn i am always practicing with my friends. Fayettville Manilus Highschool has an wasoem team adn they knwo how to knickass.

Summer Camps
Hi there there is a great camp happening next year in Estella, P.A. with a company called Planet Hockey running from 11th-15th July next year, they have some great Coaches and players that make it fun and you learn a lot.
I had the chance to work with some of the caoches at another camp last year through Nike, and they were brill.

OK its like this you are not going to get sponsored unless you are better than the rest, meaning you are playing junior international ( most big hockey makes will not sponsor you fully unless you are playing under 21 of higher), Monarch i have found a very helpful sponsor in the past the kit they supply is very good but it is not a patch on the obo kit i use now its amazing how much easier it is to use than any kit i have ever used. So the plan guy's is get good and then write away but make sure you like the kit before getting sonsored as it sucks if you get a good deal then hate the kit as leagally you are not allowed to play in anything else always read your contract!!!!!!!!

World Camp USA
Hi everyone,
My name is Michiel Hilders. I am a Dutch Field Hockey player (GOALIE!!!) and coach and I work for World Camp USA in Falmouth, MA!
The next couple of months we will be doing some clinics in MA to promote our summer programs. They are going to in Putnam Valley and Stony Brook (NY), Swarthmore (PA, 2 sessions), Umass Dartmouth and Umass Amherst (both MA).
We bring in some of my fellow Dutch friends, most of them with OLYMPIC EXPERIENCE and they bring their GOLDEN MEDALS to prove it!
Our programs have a special Goalie department.. We will fly in one of the most talented goalies in Holland or you will be having me, formal Dutch under 21 and Premier League goalie, so...

hey if any one is looking for a good hockey camp try www.sportways.com
they do different camps for all ages.
all of its programs train goalies, but there are specific camps for goalies aswell.
they arrange camps in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Antwerp and Dublin.
You train with international players, for example the main trainer in the dublin camp is 2 time gold medalist Brau Lomans.
They are so much fun, i have gone 5 times and im going to another two camps of theirs this summer. Its definitley worth checking out

they hold playdays, clinics and summer camps & a gk & field player shoot-n-save day(s). They have a may playday and a may gk/forward day camp. Their summer camps are the best, check it out! We went last year with our team, and it was awesome and the coaches all helped us be better as a team and we learned some great skilss and the coaches were international and usa ones, they are great so check it out!

I can't get enough of Feild hockey
I love feild hockey sooo much! I know everything about the game. I've been playing for one year. I play for the middle school in my area. I have practice 5 days a week. But I love it so much, I'll practice for anouther hour after I get home from practice! I'd love to go to a summer camp for feild hockey, But I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO GET INTO CAMP. someone please tell me how to sign up and how much it costs. thxs.
