Australian coach Frank Murray has asked his players to follow Nikki Hudson's lead after the veteran Hockeyroos striker guided her side to a 2-1 win over Korea in Brisbane.
Hudson and fellow mainstay Angie Skirving shone brightly for the Hockeyroos who took an unassailable 4-0 series lead in the six-Test series.
Hudson rode a wave of local support to score the winner midway through the second half after the game was deadlocked at 1-1 at halftime.
Murray praised the performance of his skipper who dominated the Korean's defence in the second half and suggested his younger players could learn plenty from her just six months out from the Commonwealth Games.
"The big thing is her experience as well and the young ones have to feed off that," Murray said.
"There's a lot of inexperience there and they've just got to watch the way Nikki plays, and they will, but at the moment we've got a few (players) out injured.
"So in some ways it's promising. (Korea) are effectively in the top six in the world and we've won four out of four."
Murray said he would look to use the final two games of the series to sort out the remaining kinks in the Hockeyroos' youthful looking midfield.
"We're still not getting control of the midfield," he said.
"It's difficult because we've been changing it but we still have to control the midfield."
Donna-Lee Patrick opened Australia's account in the 22nd minute before Korea's Jung Hee Kim replied six minutes later.
The Hockeyroos then dominated proceedings after the break with Hudson securing the win for the hosts in the 55th minute when she found a lucky deflection from a penalty corner.
The series now moves to Ipswich for the fifth Test on Saturday before concluding the following day on the Gold Coast.
