WALES have named an unchanged women's squad from the recent Celtic Cup hockey tournament in Edinburgh for the European Nations Trophy.

Wales will rely on the experience of captain Georgie Sharples and goalkeeper Michelle Thomas, with six of the squad members of last year's successful U-21 European Trophy side.

The squad leave for an eight-day acclimatisation camp in Spain this week before departing for Baku in Azerbaijan on September 2.
