Men's international field hockey tournament will launch in Field Hockey Complex of Baku, August 12.
Sportsmen from Azerbaijan, including, Tehsil Sports Center, teams of different regions of Azerbaijan, as well as hockey players from Iran (nationals), teams from Tebriz and Urmiye (Iran) will attend the tournament, organized by Azerbaijan Field Hockey Federation and Baku Youth Sports and Tourism Main Department on the occasion of IV Republican Youth Forum.
The tournament to end on August 17 will be held on the round robin.
It should be reminded that European men?s hockey teams will gather for ?D? division tournament in Valetta /Malta/, September 4-11, to gain license for ?Cup Challenger?.
Azeri national team will meet with Turkey (September 4), Denmark, Malta, Serbia and Montenegro, Cyprus.
