Pakistan hockey team led by vibrant Captain Muhammad Saqlain Tuesday left for Germany and Holland to participate in Four Nation Hamburg Master Cup and 8 Nation Robo Bank tournament from Islamabad to Germany.

According to details, Pakistan hockey team will participate in Hamburg Master Cup tournament from August 12-14 in Germany on basis of single league.

Pakistan play their first match against hosts Germany on August 12, Holland on 13th and Australia on August 14.

After the Hamburg Master Cup tournament from August 12-14 Pakistan hockey team will participate in 8 Nation Robo Cup that includes besides Pakistan, arch rivals India whom Pakistan will play on August 18 and against Germany on August 19.

Pakistan team under dynamic leadership of Muhammad Saqlain has two goal keepers, four right full backs, five half backs and eight forwards. On the other hand, Ahsan Allah will be representing Pakistan for the first time.

Pakistan 19 member team also includes team management Asif Bajwa, Chief Coach, Rana Mujahid Assistant Coach whereas Saeed Khan will be performing his duties as Team Manager of the respected team.

Before departure to Germany, Pakistan Captain Saqlain on Islamabad airport said that both the tournaments have some of the world best hockey teams and Pakistan have to play out of their skins to beat them.

He added that Pakistan is fully prepared to take on the mega challenge hoping that Pakistan will not disappoint fans and will play extremely well.

He further said that the biggest challenge for Pakistan hockey team is to win Champions Trophy scheduled to be held in India.
