Kelburne duo Chris Nelson and Michael Christie are in Scotland's hockey squad for the European Nations Championship in Germany this month.

Scotland have a tough task in Leipzig as they face the hosts - reigning world and European champions - England and Belgium. The Scots must secure a top-six finish to make the World Cup qualifier in China next year.

? BAR's Jenson Button has been told he must fight his Formula One contract battle with Williams on his own as he attempts to find a way out of his deal with the team for 2006. BAR boss Nick Fry said: "It's between Jenson and Williams."
