Our coach is an embarrassment, Scotland started well, yet when leading and on top 4 substitutions are made at once! We never recovered from that.
Why leave Niall and Michael Christie in stand, anybody who saw them play on Sunday will realise how important they were to that performance.

Couldnt agree more team looked uneasy almost as if they knew if they put afoot wrong they would be pulled off all this chopping and changing cant be helping the team settle down to play. Of course there are a couple out there who are so convinced of their place in the squad they are playing as if the couldnt give a toss. How about puttting in a bit of effort and stop reading your own press lads Eight pounds a ticket to watch some of those posers is a bit rough. Olympians Ha Ha Ha Mathais whose side are you on?

We may play France in a cross over match in Europe where the stakes are a little higher, Mathais did not want to give anything away before then. It pays to look a little further into the future.

What you are saying is valid, but look at the bigger picture, you had good crowds at Peffermill on all 3 days, surely this championship meant something to them. Remember it was £5 a head for each day and people spent a lot of money to watch that and support Scottish hockey.
If you are a player now, you will surely realise that our German coach (Mr. Man management) apologised to the team for getting it wrong on Friday night. He should have been apologising to the fans as well. The defeat against the French was bad enough but the way Scotland let the Welsh win that match was also disgraceful.
I will be behind the Scottish players in Germany but surely the players deserve better than they are getting at the moment from the management. They are worked hard bullied with little in the way of encouragement.
Heres to success in Germany and qualification to the World championships, but please remember the 1000's of ordinary players who through subscriptions etc make the international squad possible. They deserve better. At least the women tried to win their tournament and looked disappointed that they failed.

Ticket Prices
quite right about the ticket prices - £13 for a "tournament" pass or £8 for a days hockey??? having just come back from the mens junior world cup, with free entry, it makes a bit of a mockery of scottish hockey were charging to watch some second rate games. maybe it's true what they say about the scots and their money....

Poor coach
You don’t mind paying £20 to watch one game of football, but you complain when your charged £8 for a full day of international hockey?
The SHU needs to make money, if they did not charge for entry they would have lost a lot of money hosting the tournament. After loosing this money they would probably have to raise the subs to make some money back, then people like you would complain again.
How about you just grow up and try support Scottish hockey instead of picking holes in it all the time.

entry fee
What has £20 to watch a game of football got to do with it? The reason people pay that is to be involved in the atmosphere of thousands of spectators. Until there is a decent amount of people going to watch hockey (maybe even non hockey players) it is a joke to ask for any cash at all. The SHU should be finding ways to promote the sport. Surely one way of doing this would be free entry to these kind of matches.
