Argentina 2 Australia 1
ARGENTINA won the men's Hockey Junior World Cup overnight with a breathtaking penalty corner conversion after the siren in Rotterdam.
Pedro Ibarra's low flick into the left corner of the goal broke a 1-1 deadlock to give the South Americans their first junior men's world title.
The Burras edged in front shortly before halftime when Colin Hennessy converted a penalty stroke after an Argentine defender stopped a certain goal from a penalty corner.
Argentina didn't take long to equalise, scoring less than five minutes after the break through a penalty from Lucas Vilato to set up an exciting second-half.

Ibarra was the man who got Argentina back into the match after Australia dominated play for large periods of the second-half and it was fitting that he was the man to win the Cup for his team.
