Australia stepped up their game today and dominated Canada with their increase in tempo. Canada struggled to cope with the quick free hits and constant attacking pressure. Aussie Angie Skirving did most of the damage converting 3 penalty corners with well placed drag flicks. Nicole Arrold also converted two penalty corners. Canada only had one penalty corner opportunity for the game.
Two more players in the Canadian squad received their first international caps, Stephanie Quinn and goalie Amanda Stone, taking the total number to six over the first two games.
