England women's hockey team drew 0-0 with China in their opening match of the KT Cup in South Korea.
China are ranked fourth in the world but England forced more penalty corners and were unlucky not to score when Alex Scott hit the bar.

England also had an appeal for a penalty stroke turned down late on.

"Our discipline and technique in team defence created a fantastic platform from which to consistently attack China," said coach Danny Kerry.

England face India in their second match of the week-long tournament on Friday.
