The first episode of the International Hockey Federation’s (FIH) new television magazine programme, BDO WorldHockey Monthly, receives its first worldwide screenings tomorrow.
The programme will be shown on Thursday, 2 June, at 2200 (New Delhi local time) on cable and satellite broadcaster Ten Sports throughout the Asian subcontinent and Middle East, and at 1830 (local time) on Astro in Malaysia.
Among the highlights, the first episode features worldwide news and coverage from recent world-level events, player focuses on the Sahara Young WorldHockey Player of the Year, Santi Freixa, leading South African striker Pietee Coetzee, and an interview with new USA high performance technical director Terry Walsh.
Sponsored by FIH’s global partner, BDO International, the magazine will be produced and delivered free-of-charge to broadcasters every four weeks. The first episode will be broadcast in more than 50 countries worldwide, with full scheduling details available on www.WorldHockey.org.
