Azerbaijani Hockey Players Beat Russia Three Times

Russian field hockey team has trained in Azerbaijan for a week.

During this week, the Russian team played three matches with Azerbaijan national teams. The matches ended in favor of Azerbaijani team.

Azerbaijan national team will play three friendly matches with the same team in Elektrostal city, Russia, in August. These matches are part of the preparatory stage for the European championship to be held in Baku September 5-11. Eight teams will be competing in two groups. Azerbaijan will compete with Italy, Wales and Belarus in the �A� group. The �B� group includes Lithuania, Russia, Belgium and Poland.
