The Bermuda Hockey Federation has just announced their online presence at www.BHF.bm. The site includes details of club leagues, youth programmes and more.
The tiny island (21 miles x 1 mile) in the Atlantic has been home to a flourishing men’s and women’s league for years. Bermuda’s hockey representatives, both as club and national teams, have regularly travelled abroad to compete in tournaments.
For many years Bermuda hosted a Club Festival, sponsored by Bacardi Rum (headquarters in Hamilton, Bermuda’s capital). We can only hope that the website will generate some further interest in resurrecting this fine event.
