The Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) league resumes this weekend with eight matches lined up at various venues.
Today’s highlight is the Premier League match between perennial rivals Kenya Police and Armed Forces men at Simba Union starting 4pm.
Matches between the military sides have always been explosive and Saturday’s clash cannot be exceptional.
Both teams boast of top class players with Armed Forces having Meshack Senge, Collins Okoth, Fred Wasike and Lusiro Gona among others.
The Police outfit has prolific scorers including Ken Osikuku and Kennedy Kaunda who have the ability to penetrate Forces’ defence.
Mombasa Sports Club (MSC) position at the top of the national women’s league comes under threat Sunday when they host champions Telkom Kenya at 2.15pm.
