Colorado Springs, Colo.— The USA Field Hockey men's under-21 team earned a fourth place finish at the Junior Pan American Championships following a 4-0 loss to Mexico in the bronze medal game in Havana.
The USA's fourth place finish matches its best-ever effort at the premier continental event for junior men's teams, equaling its fourth place finishes in 1981, 1985, 1992 and 2000.

However, the finish wasn't high enough to earn the USA a berth in the Junior World Cup, June 29-July 10 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands as only the top three teams from the Junior Pan Am event qualify for the Junior World Cup. Tourney champ Argentina, runner-up Chile and third-place finisher Mexico will represent the Americas in Rotterdam.

Argentina defeated Chile, 7-0, in the championship game to claim its eighth Junior Pan Am title.

US loss to Mexico
Sorry Boys
I know you must feel gutted at missing out on the Junior World Cup but a 4-0 loss was a comprehensive one and it sounds like Mexico deserved to go.
Congratulations to Pat Harris who was named player of the tournament..only problem is his motorcycle helmet wont fit now.
Cheers Jacko

QUE SIGUE FMH , CUANDO APOYARAS AL DISTRITOFEDERAL USTEDES SIGUEN CON LAS POLITIQUERIAS, AHORA APOYO A QUIEN MAS LES PUEDE DAR, NO HOCKEY, APOYO PARA SEGUIR ROBANDO Y DETERIORANDO, LO POCO QUE SE ALCANZA, MIRA HASTA SUERTE TIENEN, AHORA TENDRAS MAS DE DONDE ROBAR. POR EL LUGAR QUE OBTUVIERON LOS SUB 21. HASTA CUANDO ENTENDERAN QUE TODO LO QUE HACE, ES PARA BIEN DE EL PRESIDENTE , NO PARA EL HOCKEY
