Hockey legend back in the game - coaching!

Hong Kong's HKFC Club is enjoying having a local celebrity in its coaching team this season. Indeed, 1964 Tokyo Olympic hockey team member Sarinder Dillon, has taken over as chief coach of mini hockey, and occasionally even occasionally turns out for club's D-team!

57 year old Dillon, now retired from his Hong Kong Government Department position, was incredibly only 17 years old when he went to Hong Kong's first and only Olympic hockey appearance, in 1964. So talented a player was he at the time, that he was considered one of the best players in the world, during the 1964 Olympics, despite coming from a "minnow" country.

Dillon is now concentrating on building the next hockey players to make it to the top.

Mini hockey is every Friday night at HKFC for member's children, aged from 5-10 years old.
