Head coach of the Pakistan junior hockey team Tahir Zaman has returned home after conducting Olympic solidarity hockey coaching course in Muscat, Oman.

Tahir told this agency on Thursday that the 8-day course, held in the last week of December, was attended by 25 local coaches who were taught basics, advance and high performance of hockey. It was the second course in four months which he supervised before conducting FIH coaching course in Dubai last September. The former Pakistan captain said the FIH was laying special attention on promoting hockey in Asia, specially in Middle East where hockey is getting a new identity with the keen interest and involvement of youth. app
