An earthquake and tsunamis that have hit coastal areas of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, the Maldives and other nations in Southern Asia feared over thousand of children.
We all know that children born innocence and their lives or future very much depends on their parents, relative, community and government. But this sudden nature anger turns their fortune into darkness.
Shaheen Sports Club will host a fund raising namely "Hockey for Love" on 5th January, 2005 (Wednesday) at King's Park Hockey Ground, Wylie Road, Kowloon from 6pm-10pm.
There will be:
Ceremony of one minute silence to pay tribute to those unfortunate victims, Tie yellow ribbon to wish those lost ones will return home soon Fund raising games Donation Box for donors Food and drinks
Shaheen hope to raise $50,000 for United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to assist them to provide sleeping mates, clothing, water purification, shelter equipment and things that need urgently for those homeless families.
