In the last round before the christmasbreak Orient Lyngby regained the 1st place in the danish division. In saturdays first match Orient Lyngby earned 3 points after a tough match against Copnehagen. A 9-7 lead to Orient with few minutes left resulted in Copenhagen substituded their goalkeeper but without any luck and Orient could easily score two more goals before the final hooter and a 11-7 win to Orient Lyngby. In the second match against archrivals from Slagelse 1st half was a close game with a 4-3 lead to Orient after 20 minutes. In second half Orient showed they had another gear and with fast pace they outclassed the former champions with the final score of 11-4. In the third match of the Copenhagen and Slagelse drew 5-5.

The weekend was a great boost for Orient Lyngby before their trip to Bremen in the beginning of the new year where the team are particpating in the annual 8-mens tournement. In this tournement Orient Lyngby are facing the two 1st bundesliga teams from Uhlenhorst and TuS Lichterfelde and the 2nd bundesliga team åØåATSV Güstrow. There are also a 8-womens tournement
