PETALING JAYA: Bandar Penawar Sports School continued their winning ways in the MHF-Milo-NSC-Adidas Junior Hockey league when they downed Sungai Petani MC 2-1 at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil yesterday.
The win took the Sports School from Johor back to the top of the standings with 17 points, dislodging Tenaga Nasional.
Overall defending champions Old La Sallians Association of Klang moved to second place after their 1-0 win over MPPJ.

Tenaga, leaders after last weekend's matches, had no matches yesterday and dropped to third place in the standings.
The Bandar Penawar team left it till late to clinch the win. It was the northern side who took the lead in the 19th minute through a field attempt by Noorme Faizal Hassan.
And they managed to keep the Sports School at bay until the 56th minute. Then, Bandar Penawar scored twice in four minutes to take full points.
Mohamed Fakhrulradzi scored a field goal to equalise in the 56th minute. Four minutes later, Mohamed Sari Jasmani scored the winner, another field goal.
Bandar Penawar will rest today before playing lowly PKNS tomorrow at the PJ Hockey Stadium.
Olak kept up the pressure on the league leaders when they upstaged Petaling Jaya Municipal Council (MPPJ) 1-0 at the Pandamaran Hockey Stadium.
A solitary strike by Mohamed Al Faisal in the 33rd minute from a penalty corner setpiece move settled the issue.
MPPJ have another tough match--against Tenaga--today.
In another match at the National Hockey Stadium, Anderson pulled off a 1-0 win over Malacca MC in a crucial encounter to keep their title ambitions on track.
It was Malacca MC's third straight defeat. Earlier, the Malacca outfit were the front runners. Last week they were beaten by Bukit Jalil Sports School and Tenaga Nasional last week.
The Anderson goal came from a penalty corner move in the 51st minute with Azli Misron scoring. It was enough to give the Ipoh school full points.
They will travel to Seremban today to play lowly Armed Forces and look likely to maintain their winning run.
At the Bukit Serendit Hockey Stadium in Malacca, Bukit Jalil Sports School continued their revival with their fourth straight victory, thumping SM Datuk Taha 4-1.
It was the sports school who took the lead in the fifth minute through Mohamed Ali but SM Datuk Taha drew level in the 14th minute when Faharul Nazrey equalised with a field goal.
But Mohamed Anwar restored their lead five minutes later and Tg Ahmad Tajuddin and Mohd Redza Maadun gave them a clear win with goals in the 23rd and 40th minutes respectively.
