The Women’s Sports Foundation is holding their biennial summit May 3-6 in Scottsdale, Arizona. A few of this year’s topics include: Rights and Under-representation of Women in Olympic Sports; Mature Women: the Next Emerging Market; Gender in the Media and the Role of Female Athletes as Corporate Spokesperson/Endorser.
The Summit brings together the leaders in women's sports and fitness to focus on current information and issues. The Summit serves the needs of individuals from multiple constituencies including academicians, athletes, athletic administrators, coaches, Foundation members, journalists, lawyers, marketers, media, parents, physical educators, sponsors, sporting goods manufacturers, students and national leaders and other representatives of organizations providing sports and fitness to girls and women.
The Women's Sports Foundation Summit is a unique opportunity to interact with a cross section of men and women involved in girls and women's sports and fitness. The Summit offers new ideas, a setting for exchanging information and the latest data about women's sports and fitness. Equally important, attendees have the opportunity to network with others who have an investment in the growth of sports and fitness programs for girls and women.
