Nothing can stop Pocztowiec's players from putting dozens more goals past their rivals. On Saturday and Sunday Poznan team crashed Siemianowice (from Upper Silesia, southern Poland) 8:0 and 2000 vice-champions Polonia Sroda Wielkopolska 8:1. In seven matches Pocztowiec, who will represent Poland this month in the Winners Cup (13-16 April in Hertogenbosch, Nederlands), scored 67 goals for an average of 9.6 per game.

Meanwhile their local rivals from military Grunwald lost their first points drawing on Sunday in the northern Polish rural area of Paluki with an ambitious team of LKS Rogowo. The match was played on a grass surface in a heavy rain, and this is the only explanation the title-holders have in their defence. But the day before the Poznan team had great difficulties as well, this time playing against the other team from Paluki - LKS Gasawa. Finally, Jerzy Joskowiak's players won the rural club 2:0.

Recently Grunwald has lost their two players - both national squad members which took part at Sydney Olimpic Games. Pawel Jakubiak went to play in Italian HC Torino, while Aleksander Korcz signed a contract with Australian Adelaide Seacliff.

To PFH,
It has only just come to my attention (after checking out your web-site for at least a year now) that there are more articles then shown on the front page. I just assumed that "what you see is what you get" and there was only one page of articles. If there was something that informs people there are more articles, then I'm sure this wouldn't happen. I know it sounds simple, but I just didn't think there was more!!

Thanks pbt,
This is one of our biggest challenges, with so many articles coming through the system. Right now, we have a "today's news" link just below the Search option on the left navigation bar.
However, we realise that this is not adequate, and are discussing a redesign of the home page to highlight more info. Thanks for taking the time to write in.
