Oman: Omani hockey team arrives in Pakistan

A 25-member Omani hockey squad arrived here on Sunday on a ten-day trip to play a series of matches against the local clubs.
Team included four officials and 21-players. Oman will play six matches during their stay in the city. All the matches will be played at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium.
Salim Abdulla Al-Masroori is the leader of the delegation. Abdul Rahman (manager), Shaaban and Yousuf (coaches) are officials of the team.
Team: Aiman Abdul Aziz, Basim Khatar Rajab, Naseeb Abdul Rahim, Liyth Ahmed Khalfan, Ali Abdullah, Taea Awadh Sanjoor, Khalid Nasser, Salah Nasser, Hashim Ghanim Ramadhan, Said Ahmed, Hamood Muhammad Said, Ibrahim Sulaiman, Mahmood Saleem Ghashim, Faris Jan, Aiman Awadh, Hasan Aiyad, Adil Mubarak, Shakir Awadh, Sharef Ghjarib, Saleh Salim and Hafedh Ali Hamdan.
Former Olympian Kamran Ashraf will be the acting coach of the visiting team.
Oman team will take on Pakistan Veterans on Tuesday and on Wednesday will play against Sui Southern Gas Company. After Thursday’s rest day, Oman team will be against National Hockey Club on Friday and play KESC on Saturday. On Sunday Oman team will meet PHF Under-16 team and conclude their tour with a match against NBP and will fly back home on August 25. app
