THE Hockey Association of Zimbabwe (HAZ) last week named the final teams for the Under-19 men and women's World Cup Qualifiers scheduled which are set for September.
The men's qualifiers pitting hosts Egypt, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Zimbabwe will run from September 10-18 while the women's team will battle it out in South Africa in a five-team qualifying round.
From the 18-member menÕs squad called up, three are South Africa-based with the bulk drawn from Eradicators, BAC, OH, Queens and Hippo Valley.
Rhodes University's duo of Keith Kachambwa and Lungelo Khani, and Bakani Ntaisi are the foreign-based players drafted into the team.
The womenÕs team are pinning their hopes on goalie Sarah Bennet, Natasha Meth are Holly Wiles.
