Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) is going to appoint Qamar Ibrahim, the former national hockey player of Pakistan as the coach of Bangladesh National Hockey team.

"I will not only the coach of national hockey team but also the chief development worker of Bangladesh's hockey", said Qamar Ibrahim on Wednesday.

Qamar disclosed his mission in Bangladesh while he was talking to the newsmen at the office room of BHF on Wednesday.

Qamar told the newsmen that he would get a sallary of two thousand dollars per month if Bangladesh Hockey Federation recruit him. Qamar will also get house, car and a mobile phone free of cost when he will conduct the training camp for the national hockey players untill Asian Games scheduled to be held in Qatar in 2006.

Qamar told the newsmen that he would coach national team, under-21 team and under-16 team. Qamar will also conduct some clinic for the local trainers.

While Qamar was asked to comment about the local players he said that they had talent but he found that they had lack of experience and their physical fitness was not up to the mark.

Meanwhile, Shamsul Bari, the General Secretary of BHF hinted that Dutch Bangla Bank would sponsor the coaching camps to be conducted by Qamar Ibrahim.
