Before the last round against Slagelse HK Orient Lyngby had allready won the the championship but that did not keep them away from putting a great effort in the match. A crazy start of the match meant that borth teams had scored twice after the first quarter. But after an equal start Orient Lyngby showed they were far the best team. 5-2 was the score by half time and Orient Lyngby continued after the break to be the most dominant team. The final result showed 8-3 to Orient Lyngby. In saturdays other match Copenhagen drew 2-2 with Sørbymagle which meant that Marseisborg HK won the silver. Besides from Orient Lyngby this years tournement turned out to be equal with the rest of the teams in a interval of 3 points. Next season the 1st division will be expanded with Gentofte HK.

After the coming outdoor season Orient Lyngby will put focus on the indoor season where the danish champions for the fourth time in a row will compete in the European Indoor Cup in Wienna where they will defend their 6th place from 2004 in Espinho.
