ZAGREB, Croatian mens indoor championship finished with play-off matches on Saturday. Following the semis, Jedinstvo and Zelina played for 3rd place. Jedinstvo deserved the bronze after 9:4 win.
The final match featured old champions Marathon-Senso and Mladost, winners of the national indoor cup competition earlier this year. Marathon-Senso took the lead in the 7th minute after a penalty corner deflection from Jamicic. Mladost came back three minutes before the half-time when Hanzek equalized by a low push. Only a minute later Marathon-Senso was in the lead again when Hrupec finished a nice team action over the right wing. Only one goal lead gave Marathon a slim advantage and everything was possible in the second half. It looked good for Marathon-Senso when Vuckovic managed to double the difference from their third penalty corner. Still it was a long way till the end. Mladost was back in the match in 26th minute when Vucic quickly scored for 3:2. A close game continued through the second half until veteran Vuckovic, left unmarked on the top of the circle, netted his second of the match two minutes before the hooter. Mladost pulled out their goalkeeper, but goalkeeper and defense of Marathon-Senso kept their net clean.
Therefore old/new champions Marathon-Senso celebrated their 12th indoor title in the past 13 years. Team of Marathon-Senso: Stimac (GK), Cvetko, Kadic (capt.), T. Jamicic, D. Hrupec, Bujan, Vuckovic, Horvatin, Bonacic, Bauk, Pavlovic and Druzijanic (GK); Team manager: Kreso Tralic; Coach: Zeljko Rudic
Seminfinal
Marathon-Senso Zelina 10:5 (5:2)
Mladost Jedinstvo 7:2 (4:1)
3rd place
Jedinstvo Zelina 9:4
Final
Marathon-Senso Mladost 4:2 (2:1)

Screw you, man. Marathon doesn't need judges to be the best hockey team in Croatia.

Marathon won all indoor games against mladost this year. What can you say about that "fish tomi"?! you must take loss as a man. You always cry when you loose.
don't worry maybe you will win indoor five years from now, but next five years are reserved for marathon again because they were, they are and they will be the best team in croatia.
Marathon will win outdoor champion for this year. i can't waith to hear from you how they won outdoor championship because of the judges "again".
