Sliders on Sunday shared the spoils with Vikings after they settled for a barren draw in the Kenya Hockey Union women's national league match at Simba Union Club.

The match, which was equally contested, saw both teams squander several clear chances. Vikings came close to scoring when Lynette Otibire volleyed over bar Sylvia Shikuku's efforts in the 23rd minute from close range. Vikings escaped narrowly twice in the first half when Tina Agunda and Annet Musabi broke through the opponents defence only to be stopped by eagle-eyed goalkeeper Elvi Nemna.

Vikings on Saturday lost 2-1 against Blue Eaglets in a hotly-contested league match at Barclays Bank Sports ground, Ruaraka. The victors opened the scoring in the 19th minute through Christine Nyaucho. Eaglets' second goal came five minutes later when Terry Masibo set up Anjeline Nyangasi to score.

Linet Otibine scored the consolation goal in the 41st minute from solo efforts.
