This weekends Final four for both women and men played in Lyngby proved once again that danish indoor hockey is played on a high level and brings a lot of joy to the spectators. In the mens final between Orient Lyngby and Sørbymagle about 300 people made a perfect frame. The game was pretty close in the first half but in the second half the defending champions from Orient was the strongest team and they could be satisfied after their 9-4 win. In the womens final the goals were fewer but the exitement were in top. 2-2 between Copenhagen and Slagelse in ordinary time forced extra time in which Slagelse were the most effective team to pull a 3-2 victory home and become danish champions.

Results from the weekend:
Womens semifinal: KH-Odin 7-3 (3-3 ord.)
Mens semifinal: Slagelse: - Sørbymagle 5-6
Womens semifinal: Slagelse - Sørbymagle 7-1
Mens semifinal: Orient Lyngby - KH 13-5

Women: 3.-4. place: Odin - Sørbymagle 3-0
Men: 3.-4. place: Slagelse - KH 15-4
Womens Final: Slagelse - KH 3-2 (2-2 ord.)
Mens Final: Orient Lyngby - Sørbymagle 9-4

This means that Orient Lyngby can go to Portugal and play the European Cup as defending champions. Team manager Peter Christiansen says: "It's a great boost for the team and our confidence that we once again are champions and I'm sure this will maximise our perfomances in Porto later this week"
