Premier League return this Sunday (1st Feb.) after a week break of the Chinese New Year. Leaders Guangdong will entertain Macau at Olympic Stadium, Guangdong beat Macau 6-1 in the early of the season but Macau played more aggresive then the start of the season and gave many hard time to their opponets.

Three games were scheduled at King's Park Hockey Ground, Hong Kong and hockey fans will sure witness some high standard of hockey during the six hours of play.

12.30pm Pakistan Assn. A will met Valley A for their return match and their first encounter were 2-2 draw. Three points is important for both teams to reach the Top 4 for the final play-off.

HKFC A will looking for their sweet revange against KCC A at 2.30pm as Sports Road side lost their first match to KCC A 1-5 . HKFC have a upper hand as KCC now playing without their national player Arif Ali, who will be playing the Singapore League in Singapore, need to clear who will replace Arif.

Shaheen A will met SSSC A at 4.30pm, this is a postpone game as Shaheen request postponement earlier due to their participation of Thailand King's Cup in Bangkok. SSSC A also got good chance to reach Top 4 for the play-off and a win for them will also motivate them in the remaining games.

While on the Womens Division One, leaders HKFC A play second position KCC A on Saturday (31st Jan) at HKFC 3.30pm. HKFC beat KCC 3-1 in their first game and KCC need to take revange to retain their championship run.

A good weekend for hockey both mens and ladies league.

KCC A are so screwed this time....the team is still playing as individuals instead of as a full team..they are still depending on their star players Samantha and Kitty, the young players arent getting their oppurtunities

Could Mr. Padu go to www.hockey.org.hk, Mens Section and see the name of the 5 division. It's mention Premier Division not SCPL. Why there are always people writing comment aganst everything while other people trying to promote hockey.

This article is written by some keen hockey fan which is good but definitely not by HKHA. Pakistan Association vs Valley match this weekend has already been postponed. Please check on HKHA website.

HKHA
Urdu, my boy, the League is promoted to the media as China League or South China. When HKHA pretend or kill that on their web-site by called in Hong Kongs Premier League it destroys our reputation in the non-hockey world and embarasses and undermines those who got he League going. Maybe you don't understand promotion and marketing but its a fatal error, which is why there are no sponsors r media interest,

I think you didn't remember that Kitty help KCC beat HKFC last year and I am sure she is still the best Chinese ladies in HK. I dont know why you said she is playing for Shaheen... perhaps you don't want her to play for KCC

not screwed?...come on!!!...kitty quit and is back in the second division where she does not belong...she is so good and deserves to be in the first....but too much politics is happenin in kcc at the moment...players are being droppd now for no good reason and i heard that they picked up a valley chick to play for them...but she played like 3 or so games with them meaning that she is a valley and she cant change during the season can she??!!!

Ladies
I know there also many tournaments such as one day tournament for all division of ladies league but HKHA womens section never annouce on their official website and that is why not many people receive news on woman. That's why many people post here that womens section even worst then mens section it's because it's running by most of Valley's ladies and only doing thing which is benefit to their club.
I know it's not fair to say that but you can ask any of the players of the womens league except those who play for Valley. YOu will know I am right on this.

HK's future
Which is why HK needs an indendant HKHA executive officer, from outside Hong Kong, to get around club politics/self-interest, and organise media relations, coaching, SCPL, Super Cup and sponsorship. We leave it to the Dillions, and the lazy direction-less ladies at our own self destruction......

Kcc although have a good history, they aren't doing so well. They already lost to hkfc twice, with the second match being an embarresment-first goal in 5 minutes. What's happening to kcc and this about politics?

To everyone who has been so supportive towards Michelle Burry's career in hockey. Unfortuantely Michelle injured her leg on friday night and hasnt healed since then. I am afraid that she won't be playing much within these few weeks.

Ladies field hockey tournament
They are still lack of international tournament for the ladies hockey in Asia region especially the age group game. Hope the Asia Hockey Federation will organise more ladies hockey tournament at all stage thus to promote this game to be the number one sports among the ladies in Asia.
