Leandro Negre, President chaired his first meeting of the European Hockey Federation Executive Board at its fourth and final meeting of 2003 in Prague on the 13th and 14th December.
The President and Executive members during their stay in Prague had the opportunity of meeting with Mr. Jan Vymazal and Mr. Ivan Marsalek, President and General Secretary respectively of the Czech Hockey Federation, together with Mr.Josef Dovalil, Vice-President Czech National Olympic Committee.
Also during their visit the President took the opportunity of visiting various hockey clubs in Prague and Rakovnik. In Rakovnik the President held a meeting with Mr.Zdenek Nejdl, Mayor of the city and Mr.Pavel Kratochvil, Chairman Rako a.s.- main sponsor Czech Hockey Federation.
The main points from the meeting were: -
· Receive reports from Appointments, Competitions, Development, Finance, Indoor and Marketing Committees.
· European Hockey Championships & European Hockey Youth Championships
Competitions committee will review the offers to host at their meeting scheduled for 10/11 January.
Executive Board will allocate the venues at their meeting scheduled for the 6/7 February.
· Committees 2004 - 2005
Approve the new committee structure.
Member Associations will be invited to nominate candidates for the various committees before 31st January.
Executive Board will select and appoint the members to the committees at their February meeting.
· Development
Approve the Development Committee Budget for 2004.
The following seminars are scheduled: -
Umpires: Vienna, Austria, February.
Youth Coaches: Eindhoven, The Netherlands, April.
Umpires: Dublin, Ireland, June.
Officials: Dublin, Ireland, June.
Top Coaches: Nivelles, Belgium, July
Club Development Forum: Berlin, Germany, July.

The Executive Board meeting schedule for 2004 is: -
· 6th and 7th February, Athens, Greece.
· 29th and 30th May, Barcelona, Spain.
· 18th and 19th September, Sofia, Bulgaria.
