When the final whistle blows at 1504hrs on Sunday, 2nd November, all players, official, volunteers and supporters were full of joy for their successful record breaking. ‘The Looooooooogest Game of Hockey 2003’ which started on Saturday 1500hrs at Hong Kong Football Club hockey ground, ends with glory and teamwork plays the most important role over the past 24 hours.

More than 400 players, which include mini and youth hockey players, came with one words - ‘contribution’, they didn’t care its noon, evening or midnight. Some even brought refreshments for players that played overnight as most of the shops were closed while they were playing. Must mention was the volunteers includes umpires who gave up their times to support this event.

The Hong Kong Hockey Association (HKHA) has sent their evidence to Guinness World Record for this claim and hopefully, result will come out soon.

Looooongest game of hockey article
These people from Hong Kong may have played for just over 24 hours but Langley park boys school played for just over 25 hours non stop, with a squad of just 23 players on the 31 April and 1 May 2004 - impressive?

Actually...
The longest game according to Guiness is owned by a group of Canadians (go figure) of 5 days and 2 hours. It was actually two groups going at it at the same time, However one group was older that the other and they needed to return to work after 5 days, and thus the younger group played for 2 hours more.

very funny players trying to outwit each other in who played the longest game of hockey. the point is the game was longer th usual and there is no need to try kill our precious bodies to break records.
anyway i don't want to discourage those of us who want to do so, but take care of yourself.
TOOOOOO MUCH OF SOMETHING IS POISONOUS.

So what is the official time then?
What is the official time for the longest game of field hockey? 24 hours - 25 hours?
Surely the Canadians were playing ice hockey.
