Annan and Veen named Player of the Year - again

Alyson Annan of Australia and Stephan Veen of the Netherlands are the winners of the FIH Player of the Year awards for the year 2000. Both players played a leading role in helping their countries to win gold at the Sydney Olympics.

Minor changes to the Rules in 2001

The Hockey Rules Board met in Paris in November and put forward various rule changes which were agreed by the FIH Council.

Hockey flying at Athens
